Ernest Leo Marcotte
(August 5, 1923 – August 21, 2010)
Ernie Marcotte passed away peacefully at Hillview Manor, Estevan, Sask. on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the age of 87 years.
Ernie was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Marie; wife Doreen; siblings, Arsene (Eva), Clara (Eugene), Cecile (Adolph), Joe (Anna), Louis (Eustine), Gerard (Margaret), Irene (Tim), George, and Aurore (Doug); brother-in-law Allan (Ella) Johnson.
His memory will be forever cherished by his children, Terry (Leone); Sharon; Gail Barrett; Debbie, and Bev (Brian) Harding; grandchildren, Kirby (Vanessa) Marcotte, Lori (Trent) Mattick, Tara (Bernie) Darmokid, Tim (Cathy) Ordahl, Daryl (Veronica) Ordahl, Cindy (Pete) Welch, Jennifer Barrett (Russell Nadin), Corey Cottrell, Kyle Cottrell, Jeremy Marcotte, Chad Harding (Jen) and Chris Harding (Sara); 11 great grandchildren; brother Art (Inis) and brother-in-law Melvin (Joyce) Johnson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Pastor Cicely McDougall officiating. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Estevan, with Pastor Kathleen Schmitke officiating. Interment will take place in the Torquay Cemetery.
