Faye Angeline (Akins) Mohrbutter
(November 26, 1942 – August 24, 2010)
Faye Angeline passed away, with her family by her side, on August 24, 2010, at the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, after an all too brief struggle with cancer. Faye was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fritz in 2007, her parents, Melvina and James Akins. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: son Dean Mohrbutter (Deb); three daughters: Joyce Mohrbutter (Al), Cindy (Mike) MacNaughton and Debbie (Ted) Coffey; Grandchildren: Marie and David Mohrbutter, Kory (Jenn) and Kristopher Dickson, Sean and Matthew Coffey, Mahriah and Mitchell MacNaughton; Great-grandchildren: Logan, Linden and Calli; brothers: Robert (Vickie) Akins, Donald (Linda) Akins, Leslie Akins, sisters: Susan (Henry) Mohrbutter and Elaine (John) Dulian as well as many extended family members on both the Akins and Mohrbutter sides.
Faye was born and raised in the Manor area. She married Fritz in 1958, together they farmed until they retired to Kenosee Lake. In retirement they enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with family. Mom enjoyed baking, cooking and crocheting. After dad’s passing, mom moved to Regina, where she enjoyed volunteering and family gatherings. Mama was a kind soul who will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010, 2:00 pm, at the Redvers Legion Hall, Redvers, Sask. with Carol Mohrbutter officiating. Interment will take place in the Redvers Town Cemetery.
