Dora D. Nadon
(Oct. 8, 1911 – December 15, 2010)
Dora Nadon passed away in the Lampman Community Health Centre on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the age of 99 years.
Dora was born in Lampman, SK on October 11, 1911. She was the only child of Philip and Alphonsine Gauthier. On November 15, 1932, she married David Nadon and together they raised their six children: Florina, Ernest, Oscar, Audrey, Fay and Amie.
She was predeceased by her husband, David in 1981 and two granddaughters, Jamie Nadon and Jacqueline Schaff, and one son-in-law Marvin McKnight.
Surviving Dora and left to cherish precious memories are daughters, Florina (William) Schaff of Estevan, Audrey McKnight of Lacombe, AB and Fay (Dave) Sheard of Edmonton, AB; sons, Ernest (Julie) Nadon of Regina, SK, Oscar (Vi) Nadon of Saskatoon, SK and Amie (Faye) Nadon of Vulcan, AB; 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Prayers will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Doug Third officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman, by Rev. Joel Rama. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Parish Cemetery, Lampman.
