Edmond Joseph Gervais
(June 27, 1934 – December 27, 2010)
On Monday, December 27, 2010, Edmond Gervais passed away in Estevan at the age of 76 years.
Predeceased by his parents Raoul and Regine Gervais; Father-in-law Arsene Marcotte; Mother-in-law Eva Marcotte; brothers Paul, Roland, and Raymond; sisters Aline, Yvonne, and Yvette; five brother-in-laws and one sister-in-law.
His memory will forever remain in our hearts. He is survived by his wife of 50 blessed years, Geraldine Gervais; Children: Barry & Candace Gervais (daughters Jillian; Whitney); Allan Gervais (daughter Sarah); Joan & Reid Lane (son Mason); Duane Gervais; Brian Gervais; Brad Gervais (children Amanda, Chelsea, Shea, Josea, Brayden, Lathan).
Siblings: Joseph (Alice) Gervais; Angeline (Art) Friesen; Lawrence (Donna) Gervais; sister-in-law Esther Colbow; eight sisters-in-law; eight brothers-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Mass will be con-celebrated on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Joel Rama and Rev. Norman Marcotte. Interment will follow in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan.
In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make donations to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation or Estevan Palliative Care in Edmond's memory.
