Alfred Edmund Byers
(July 14, 1924 – December 31, 2010)
Alfred Byers passed away in Estevan, SK on Friday, December 31, 2010 at the age of 86 years.
Alfred is survived by his Son, John (Liz) Byers, Calgary, AB, Daughters, Lynn (Don) Schnell, Calgary, AB, Carole (Joe) Rohatyn, Edmonton, AB., Karen Byers (Patrice Dufour), Vancouver, BC., Debbie Byers (Bob Efford), Estevan, SK., Susan Ludwig (Brad Bengert), Estevan, SK., 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Eleanor, and wife Eileen.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Doug Third officiating. Interment to follow in the Estevan City Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Alfred’s memory to the Royal Canadian Legion, Estevan Branch, or The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan.
