Rose Marie Gress (nee Dillman)
(March 8, 1923 – Jan. 31, 2010)
Rose Gress of Estevan, SK passed away in Regina, SK with her family by her side on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the age of 86 years.
Rose is survived by her husband John Gress; children: Garry (Diane) Gress, Garth (Sandra) Gress and Debra (Jim Warner) Gress; grandchildren: Danielle Gress, Jonathon (Dianne) Gress, Gavin Gress (Keli), Chantel (Bruno) Boutin, Tamara (Arnold) Grol, Taja Rooks, Teri (Will) Arnott, Jackie (Rick) Johnston and Wayne (Mistie Nicolson) Warner; great grandchildren: Tyler, Ethan, Aaron, Alexandra, Nazareth, Angelina, Phoenix, Taylor, Riannna, Madison, Aurora, Mason, Aspen, Trinity, Sahara, Natius and Thijs; siblings: Pauline & Walter Bilawich, Katherine Kosolofski and Betty & Arnold Schalpkohl; sister-in-law: Sophie Gress, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents: Ignatiz & Rose Dillman; brothers: Valentine (Mary) Dillman, Jacob (Mary) Dillman, Peter (Ann) Dillman and John (Otillia) Dillman; sisters: Marie (Thomas) Hesketh and Magdeline (James) McMorine; great grandchild Justin Outhwaite; nephew Collin McMorine and niece Lorraine Griffith and in-laws: John & Katherine Gress, Matt Gress, Ben & Marion Resler, Werner & Veronica Rhiendel, Marion & Matilda Rogolski, Amelia & Marcus Aspenlieder and Joseph Gress.
Prayers will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Anthony Varghese Padayatty. Interment will follow in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens.
