Sylvester Patrick Knievel
(July 31, 1943 - July 23, 2010)
Sylvester Knievel passed away in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan, SK on Friday, July 23, 2010 at the age of 66 years.
Sylvester was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Ena; brother George (Phyllis); sister Mary Bates and sister-in-law Annette Knievel.
He will be forever cherished and missed by his family: wife of 36 years, Carol; one daughter Anita (Tyson) Messner and three sons, Christopher (Donna), Jefferey and Adrian; two granddaughters, Ashleigh Messner and Sylvia Knievel; special canine companion Sandy; seven brothers, Francis (Joyce), Donald (Angela), Gerald (Karen), Leo (Janet), Robert (Carol), Edward (Marlene) and Kenneth (Barbara); one sister Ann (Garf) Lindsay, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. and Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Peter Nijssen officiating. Both services will be held in St. Monica’s R.C. Church, Bienfait, SK.
Cremation will follow, with interment to take place in the Bienfait Cemetery.
