Victor Norman Stapleton
(August 5, 1920 – May 1, 2010)
Victor Stapleton passed away in Estevan, SK on Saturday May 1, 2010 at the age of 89 years.
Victor was predeceased by his wife Annie in 1975; father Norman in 1979; mother Margaret in 1996; sisters, Florence and Lillian; brother Arthur (Bud), as well as an infant son.
He is survived by his loving family: daughter Vicki (Bill) Penrod of Strathmore, AB; grandchildren, Shylo (Krista) Penrod of Picture Butte, AB, Stacy Bramble of Canmore, AB and Lee (Francine) Penrod of Warner, AB; great grandchildren, Tyson, Mykala, Cheyenna, Alexis, Hailey, Kiara, Sierra, Wyatt and Owen; sisters, Laura Weise of Stoughton, SK and Elinor (Nellie) Rasmussen of Regina, SK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Estevan, with Pastor Kathleen Schmitke officiating. Interment will take place in Woodley Cromar Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan or Trinity Lutheran Church, Estevan would be appreciated by Victor’s family.
