Frances Matilda Emmel
(October 22, 1918 – September 6, 2010)
Frances Emmel (nee: Ereth) was born on October 22, 1918 in Mandan, North Dakota and passed away quietly on September 6, 2010 in Estevan, Saskatchewan at the age of 91 years.
Frances was predeceased by her husband Jacob in 1988, her twin daughters: Frances and Katherine in 1942, her parents Ludwig and Katherine Ereth, her sisters: Katie and Anne and her brothers: Wendell, Alec, Joe, and Louie.
She is survived by her four children: Shirley (Mike) Walker of Mill Bay, B.C., Jerome (Lynn) Emmel of Salmon Arm, B.C., Valerie (Mick) Grainger of Regina, SK, and James Emmel of Buckeye, Arizona, her special grandchildren: Wendy (Devin) and their
children: Dylan, Riley, Adrianna, and Diezel, Lisa (Kris) and their children: Haley and Paige, Bradley (Melissa) and their children: Sara and Logan, Allyson (Chad) and their child Madison, Sara (Luke), Trevor and Tim. She is also survived by her sisters: Helen, Eileen and Emily (Andy) Friess.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Torquay, SK by Rev. Con Lucey. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery, Torquay.
