Florence Mae Hard
(May 29, 1922 – August 24, 2011)
Mae was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; her parents Floyd and Olga Smith; her only brother Clayton; and niece Karen Butler. She leaves to mourn Velma Berg and Beryl Southernwood, who she fondly referred to as sisters; her sister-in-law, Toini Smith, San Ramon, California; niece, Donna Fletcher; and her family Kim Fletcher and John Fletcher, also Karen’s family Stephanie, Jason and Baby Logan, all in California; aunt Evelynn Carter, Regina, several cousins and their families in Saskatchewan and
Alberta, including Clifden, Robert and Larry Berg, Ethel Anderson, Barb Oxby and her sister, Diane, as well as all the third generation children, sisters-in-law: Nell Hard in Alberta, and her family Don, Marie, Yvonne, Shirley and Robert and their families, and Anne Hard, and her family in B.C.
A Memorial Service for Mae will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Mr. Doug Third officiating. Interment will follow in the Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan.
Those so wishing may make donations to the New Estevan Regional Nursing Home or charity of one’s choice in Mae’s memory.
