Velma Cowan
(June 21, 1927 – August 29, 2011)
Velma Cowan passed away suddenly in Estevan, SK on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the age of 84 years.
Velma is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Lindy Cowan (Chris Hatley) Toronto, Ont., Gay (Jim) Harris, Estevan, Sk., Grandchildren, Ryan and Alyssa Harris of Estevan. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas; her parents, Louis and Alvina Johnson; sister, Thelma Needham; brothers, Alvin Johnson and Clarence Johnson.
A memorial service for Velma will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Mr. Doug Third officiating. Interment will follow in the Estevan City Cemetery.
