Gordon Robert Campbell
(September 28, 1920 - December 22, 2011)
Gordon Campbell passed away in Arcola, SK on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the age of 91 years.
Left to celebrate Gordon’s life are: His wife Doris; children, Shirley (Dan), Bob (Glenda) and Donnie (Bernel); son-in-law, Richard; six grandchildren, Jacqui (Wade), Jodi (Clayton), Crystal (Aaron), Dustin, Dillon (Alexis) and Parker; six great grandchildren, Jaydon, Logan, Presley, River, Adrianna and Sidney; sister Elsie Cameron, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Linden and Mary Campbell; son Dick Campbell; daughter-in-law Reena Campbell-Partridge; five brothers, Cliff (Evelyn), Forbes (Alice), Marvin (Madeline), Lloyd (Annie) and Harold (Elsie); brother-in-law Eoin Cameron, as well as numerous in-laws and friends.
A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Prairie Place Hall, Arcola, with Rev. Michelle Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Arcola Cemetery.
Those so wishing may make donations to the Museums in either Arcola, Carlyle or Manor in Gordon’s memory.
