Armand Gislain Garnier
(July 17, 1912 – February 9, 2011)
Armand Garnier passed away in the Redvers Centennial Haven on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the age of 98 years.
Armand is survived by his sons, Lucien (Helen), Harvey (Marge), Fabien (Marilynn) and daughter Jeannine (Con) Carriere; grandchildren, Debbie (Dallas) Toms, Daryl (Janelle) Garnier, Todd Garnier (friend Lisa), Lisa (Gerald) Achtymichuk, Melanie (Robert) Bauche, O’Neil (Annette) Carriere, Joanne (Garfield) Kirchner, Jocelyne Carriere, Jackie (Doug) Jonassen, Allan Carriere, Terry (Yvonne) Garnier, Deanne (Garth) Tomaschefski, Travis (Brooklyn) Garnier and Justin (Carolyn) Garnier; 30 great
grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jules and Maria, wife Dorothy, sister Marie (Fabien) Cook and brother Lucien (Paula).
Prayers will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. and Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Both services will be held in Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Redvers, with Rev. Clement Nwankwo, celebrant. Interment will take place at a later date.
