Evelyn Anna Lisafeld
(Sept. 27, 1932 – January 14, 2011)
Evelyn Lisafeld passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2011 in Estevan, SK with her loving husband (57 years) and family at her bedside.
She was predeceased by her parents, Emmanuel and Alice Tessier; in-laws, Peter and Sybilla Lisafeld; sister-in-law Lorraine Lisafeld; brother-in-law Elmer Lafrentz; nephew Ricky Tessier; niece Linda Morine and nephew Timothy Fichter.
Evelyn is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Raymond, and four children, Lionel (Bev) Lisafeld of Lampman, SK (granddaughters, Nicole (Chris) Taylor of Calgary, AB, Katie and Karlee Lisafeld of Lampman); Candace (Gerald) Horvath of Red Deer, AB, (grandchildren, Becky (Dwayne) Morrissette of Calgary and great grandchildren, Liam and Brynn; Barby Horvath and (Daryl Youck) of Calgary and Curtis (Jaci) Horvath of Red Deer and great grandson Owen; Kevin (Barb) Lisafeld of Lampman (grandchildren, Mallory, Bradley and Derrick of Lampman) and Denise (Myron) Leptich of Lampman (grandchildren, Kyla (Brett) Walbaum of Halbrite, SK and great granddaughter Havyn Walbaum; Justin (Staci) Leptich of Carnduff, SK and Jamie Leptich of Lampman). She is also survived by her brother Richard (Al) Tessier in Kelowna, BC and sisters, Loretta (Jake) Fichter of Estevan and Yvonne (Fred) de Both of Saskatoon, SK; sister-in-law Mary Lafrentz of Estevan, as well as many nieces and nephews, best friends, and special friend Lorraine.
A Funeral Mass for Evelyn will be celebrated on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan by Rev. Peter Nijssen. Interment will follow in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan.
Evelyn and her family would like to thank her doctors, Dr. Sheikh, Dr. Chalchal, nurse John for their excellent care during her illness. Also, thank you to special nurses Cindy, Tara and Cindy and all others involved in Evelyn’s care.
