Stanley Elliott Geddes
(July 23, 1925 – January 14, 2011)
Stan Geddes passed away in Redvers, SK on Friday, January 14, 2011 at the age of 85 years.
Stan was predeceased by his first wife, Evelyn, daughter Leah Ann, parents Rufus & Alma and sister Gertie.
He is survived by wife Helene, Sons David (Irene), Don (Anna), Wade (Karina) and Daughters Kathy (Jack), Janey (Doug), Step children Ron, Janet (Gerard); Grandchildren Stuart (Donica), Shawn (Amy), Sheldon (Gayle), Stacy (Danielle), Louise (Joel), Ian (Amanda), Matthew (Jib), Craig, Amanda (Paul), Chantal (Robin), Elaine, Dane, Jade, Tyson (Jennifer) and Jackie and 21 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service and Celebration of Stan’s life will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Knox United Church, Redvers, with Rev. Cornelia van Bentum officiating. Interment will take place in the Athabasca Cemetery, Athabasca Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make donations to the Redvers & District Community Health Foundation Inc. in Stan’s memory.
