Albine Lapierre
(February 18, 1942 – July 1, 2011)
On July 1, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer, Albine Lapierre (nee Dumaine), 69, peacefully went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For by Grace she was saved through faith in His finished work on the cross, not by her works (Eph 2: 8-9)
Albine is survived by her 5 children: Stella Lapierre, Estevan SK., Marcia (Ron) Holm, Red Deer AB., Carmen (Wayne) Greene, Surrey BC., Laurier Lapierre, Winnipeg, MB., Michael (Maddie) Lapierre, Gray SK; siblings: Anne-Marie (Omer) Carriere, Aime (Loraine) Dumaine, Mariette Kuffner, Lucille Beaudoin, Camilla Appleton, Rene
Dumaine, John Dumaine; sister in law: Helen Eberle; brother in law: Slim Lapierre; 10 Grandchildren: Lyndon, Jillian, Ashley (Dave), Tenille, Tessa, Abi, Jim (Amber), Tiffany, Matthew, Elijah; and 3 Great grandchildren: Briar, Jackson and Thomas.
Predeceased by: husband: Jean-Guy Lapierre; sister: Georgette Bauche; sister in law: Sharon Dumaine; brothers in law: Meinrad Eberle, Gilbert Bauche, Phil Kuffner, Luc Beaudoin; an infant grandson; nephew: Gerard Carriere; and great nephew: Chad Carriere; parents Jean and Therese Dumaine; parents in law Wilfrid and Helene Lapierre.
As per Albine’s request a private funeral service will be held July 22, 2011 at the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Redvers. A public interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Parish Cemetery, Storthoaks at 11:30 a.m., with lunch to follow at the Storthoaks Hall. Attendees are invited to share their favourite memory or story about Albine.

Thank you to the wonderful medical staff on Unit 3D and Palliative Care in Regina Pasqua Hospital for your kindness, compassion and care for Albine. Also thank you to all the medical staff that cared for Albine at the Redvers Hospital, Ambulatory Care & Ostomy Clinic at the Pasqua and General Hospitals and the Allan Blair Cancer Center.
