John Martin Carlson
(Feb. 17, 1923 – June 17, 2011)
John Carlson passed away in Estevan, SK on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the age of 88 years.
John is survived by Rita Carlson of Swift Current; children, Debra Lynn, Mona Lois, Albert John, Randal Jay and Daniel Aaron; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Myrna, Marie, Hazel, Lillian and Grace; brothers-in-law, Edward and Elwood; sisters-in-law, Grace and Margaret, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Merriam and Martha; son-in-law Leslie Ganje; brothers, Gordon, Raymond, Leslie, Murray, Stanley and Lelland; sisters, Viola and Lois; brothers-in-law Carson, Arnold, Roy, Harold, Roy, Ken, Bob, Cletus; sisters-in-law Edna and Doris; mother-in-law and father-in-law Marie and Ernie Girodat.
A private family visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Hawarden, SK.
If friends so desire, donations may be given to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Hawarden.
