Edward W. “Ted” Souther
(Dec. 20, 1922 – June 22, 2011)
Ted Souther, late of Bienfait, SK passed away in Regina, SK on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the age of 88 years.
Ted is survived by his sons, Red (Betty) Souther, La Ronge, SK and Darwyn Souther, Regina; daughters, Lynda Marcishchuk, Regina and Karen (Alvin) Wilhlem, Edson, AB; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Millie, Lorraine, Marie and Rosella and brothers, Cliff and Walt. Ted will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and families, and especially by Red, Betty, Travis and Troy and many good friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, W.O. and Hazel Souther; wife Dora (Martha Ida) Souther; son Mervin; grandson Verne and three brothers, Don, Len and LeRoy.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Estevan, SK.
Those so wishing may make donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation of Canada in Ted’s memory.
