Merton Stewart Durr
(August 22, 1936 - March 29, 2011)
In loving memory of Merton Stewart Durr, late of Bromhead, who passed away at his home on March 29, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Memorial service will be held at Hamar Lutheran Church, Bromhead, SK on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Cicely McDougall officiating. Interment will take place in the Bromhead Municipal Cemetery.
Merton was predeceased by his parents, Wilbur and Dorothy (Stewart) Durr.
Devoted husband to his wife Lillian (Johnson). Dearest father to his daughter Janelle (Laurie) Watt and children Kaitlin and Kyle, his sons Douglas, David (Diane Lamoureux) and children Matthew, Justin and Samantha, son Duncan and son Dwayne (Stephanie Brunet) Durr.
Merton is also survived by his sister Dolly (Cordell) Sandquist and brother Alan (Janie) Durr, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Brother-in-law Ingvar (Karen) Johnson and sister-in-law Ingrid (Brian) Nordstrom.
