Evelyn “Lorraine” Schindel
(November 23, 1923 – May 12, 2011)
Lorraine Schindel, late of Macoun, SK passed away in Estevan, SK on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the age of 87 years.
Lorraine is survived by her husband Oscar Schindel; children, Carol Neustaedter, Myrna (Al) Klassen, Daryl (Charlaine) Schindel, Allen (Sheri) Schindel and Garth (Terri) Schindel; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Rosner and Mildred Pott and brother Wilfred Littlejohn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Minnie Littlejohn; brother Elmer Littlejohn; sisters, Caroline Willock and Doris McCurdy; son-in-law John Neustaedter and grandson John Neustaedter, Jr.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in the Macoun Evangelical Missionary Church, Macoun, with Pastor Charlie Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in the Macoun Cemetery.
