John Gress
(December 23, 1921 – September 11, 2011)
John Gress, late of Estevan, SK passed away in Regina, SK on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by his children: Garry (Diane) Gress, Garth (Sandra) Gress, Debra (Jim Warner) Gress; grandchildren: Danielle Gress, Jonathon (Dianne) Gress, Gavin Gress, Chantel (Bruno) Boutin, Tamara (Arnold) Grol, Taja Rooks (Lorne), Paul Havens, Teri (Will) Arnott, Jackie (Rick) Johnston and Wayne (Mistie) Warner; 19 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Sophie Gress, Katherine Kosolofski, Pauline Bilawich, Betty (Arnold) Schlapkohl, and numerous nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by his wife, Rose Gress; parents, John & Katherine Gress; brothers: Matt Gress and Joseph Gress; sisters and brothers-in-law: Marion & Ben Resler, Veronica & Werner Rheindel, Matilda & Marion Rogolski and Amelia & Marcus Aspenlieder; in-laws: Ignatiz & Rose Dillman, Valentine & Mary Dillman, Jacob & Mary Dillman, Peter & Ann Dillman, John & Otillia Dillman, Marie & Thomas Hesketh, Magdeline & James McMorine, Edward Kosolofski and Walter Bilawich.
Prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Peter Nijssen. Interment will follow in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan.
