Anthony Nicholas Lischka

Anthony (Tony) Lischka, formerly of Steelman, SK passed away in Weyburn, SK on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the age of 94 years.
Tony is survived by his wife, Anne Lischka of Weyburn and his children, Kenneth (Cindy) Lischka, Steelman, Karen (Jim) Saxon, Estevan, SK, Martin (Jacqui) Lischka, Red Deer, AB, Clara (Roger) Thorpe, Penticton, B.C., Karl (Karen) Lischka, Steelman, Annette (Terry) Graff, Regina, SK and Wendy (Lionel) Pouliot, Weyburn; grandchildren, Jennifer (Harley) Strudwick, Balgonie, SK, Kieth (Maureen) Lischka, Bienfait, SK (Drayden, Laureen, Mickayla), Monique Lischka, Steelman, Amanda (Chris) Davidson, Estevan (Jordyn, Sydney, Ryder), Carrie Saxon, Calgary, AB, Chad Saxon, Estevan, Stacy (Chris) Thimer, Fort Saskatchewan, AB (Logan, Dylan), Trisha Korf, Airdrie, AB (Mason, Brady, Jayden), Steven Lischka (Holly Morton), Grande Prairie, AB, Krista Schell, Edmonton, AB, Alissa Schell, Calgary, Cory (Meghann) Lischka, Steelman (Brenden, Cayden), Rachelle Lischka (Jeremy Brooks), Alameda, SK, Danielle and Noah Graff, Regina, Derrick, Nicholas and Janelle Pouliot, Weyburn; siblings, Andrew (Leona) Lischka, Kamloops, B.C., Henry (May) Lischka, Steelman, Jack Lischka, High Prairie, AB, Ronald Lischka, Wainwright, AB, Billy (Debra) Lischka, Brandon, MB, Betty (Henry) Napora, Bangor, SK and Marlene (Don) Tatton, Bangor, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Anna Lischka; brothers, Steve (Margaret) Fieber, Frank (Eva) Lischka, John (Yvonne) Lischka and Herb (Stella) Lischka and sister-in-law Elaine Lischka.
Prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Mass will be con-celebrated on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in Mary, Queen of the Apostles R.C. Church, Maryland, SK, by Rev. Gerry Bauche and Rev. Barry Anwender. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
