Ernestine Marie Resler
(May 18, 1928 – January 1, 2012)
Ernestine Resler, late of Estevan, Sask. and formerly of Bienfait, Sask. passed away in Estevan on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at the age of 83 years.
Ernestine will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gerald (Sue) Resler, Gordon (Bev) Resler, Suzanne (Ken) Bonokoski and Wendy (Randy) Dubuc; grandchildren, Loren (Harmony), Ron (Melissa), Alexis (Joel), Laura (Patrick), David (Jodi), Jamie (Roxanne), Kevin (Kyla), Curtis, Randy (Jamie), Brad, Chris and Dylan; great grandchildren, Randi, Carter, Haley, Taylor, Logan, Brooklyn and Claire; sister-in-law Pearl Marcotte, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter; parents, David and Josephine Marcotte; grandson Gord Resler; great grandson Jace Bonokoski; sister Augustine (Bob) Cossette; brothers, Patrick (Roseanna) Marcotte, Roch Marcotte, Herb (Hilda & Jean) Marcotte, Albert (Angeline) Marcotte, Nap (Fern) Marcotte and Leo (Edna) Marcotte.
Prayers will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Monica’s R.C. Church, Bienfait, by Rev. Peter Nijssen. Interment will follow in the Bienfait Cemetery.
