Obituary for Gilbert Terrence Fraser
On Tuesday, July 15, 2014, Gilbert Fraser, late of Stoughton, SK, passed away at the New Hope Pioneer Lodge at the age of 85 years.
Gilbert will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Agnes; children, Gail (Terry) Cooney and children, Matthew (Sandy), Bridget (Hauke) and Luke (Kelsi); Carver (Marian) Fraser, and children Candace (Scott), and Alison (Garett); Terry Fraser, and children, Nathan (Trisha) and Terena (Raul); Tim (Holly) Fraser, and children, Daniel (Brandi), David, Lundsey (Geoff), Carly (Michael) and Moriah; George Fraser, and children, Jordan and Sarah (Brad); Nathalie (Patrick) Neal, and children, Kelly (Bryce), Bobbi-Jo (Randy), Lisa (Rick) and Fraser; Darren Fraser, and children, Alissa (Kevin) and Desirae (David); Melanie (Paul) Toporowski, and children, Tyler, Shane, Christopher, and Riley; Elston (Carrie) Fraser, and children, Thomas, Victoria, Taylor; 29 great grandchildren; siblings, George A. Fraser, Mary Smallwood, Ceta (Dennis) Rude; sisters in law, Mildred Fraser and Iris Fraser; special mention to Lois, Rowena, Troy (Amy) and Landon (Amye).
He was predeceased by his parents, Franklin and Gladys Fraser; siblings, Doris (Austin) McCrea. Hugh Fraser, Edgar (Pat) Fraser, Harvey (Alma) Fraser, Donald Fraser, Ronald (Shirley) Fraser, Robert Fraser, and twin brothers in infancy; grandson in law, Terry Allan.
A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, July 21, 2014, at the Stoughton Apostolic Church, Stoughton, SK., at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Fenn officiating. Interment will follow in the Stoughton Town Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Stoughton New Hope Pioneer Lodge or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Gilbert.
