Obituary for Joyce Knox (Buss)

Joyce  Knox (Buss)
Dorothy “Joyce” Knox, late of Stoughton, passed away at Newhope Pioneer Lodge, Stoughton on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the age of 85 years.

Joyce was predeceased by Don Knox, her husband of nearly 54 years; grandsons, Craig and Jay MacDonald; parents, Raymond and Violet Buss; twin brothers, Milton and Merton Buss; sisters, Francis and Gladys, and other family members and friends too numerous to mention.

Left to mourn Joyce’s passing are her daughters, Pat Knox (Larry Seabrook) of Stoughton, Sherry Bush (Bob) of Kelowna, B.C., Judy Valentine (Don) of Carlyle and Susan Knox-Mack (Darrell) of Stoughton; grandchildren, Marty Rolufs (Elan), Michael Knox, Leah Valentine, Shane Valentine (Ashley), Deidre Allan (Tyson), Tristan Valentine (Jesse Winkler) and 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Rae Currie and Helen Bobo; brother-in-law Ben Morse, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stoughton Apostolic Church with Rev. Ken Stoddard officiating. Interment will take place in a family ceremony prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the Activity Fund at either Newhope Pioneer Lodge (Box 38, Stoughton, SK, S0G 4T0) or the Fillmore Union Health Centre (Box 246, Fillmore, SK, S0G 1N0).
