Obituary for Catharine "Kaye" Reed (Glasser)

Heaven has gained an angel. Our mother Kaye Reed passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Estevan Regional Nursing Home, Estevan, SK at the age of 97 years.

Kaye is lovingly remembered by her children, Peggy (Lyall) Bolton, Dianne Green, Mona (Allie) Collins and Jim (Colleen) Reed; 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother, Paul Glasser; sisters-in-law, Gladys Glasser and Patricia Glasser as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Kaye was predeceased by her parents Philip and Monica Glasser; husband Marvin Reed; siblings, Betty (John) Geisel, Magdalena (Ole) Aabol, Joe (Frances) Glasser, Phil (Bernice) Glasser, John (Louis) Glasser, Ed Glasser; sister-in-law, Nel Glasser; great grandsons, Logan and Landon Bolton and son-in-law, Jim Bell.

The Prayer Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at St. Joseph's RC Church, Oxbow, SK with Rev. Melchor Samote presiding. Interment will follow at the Oxbow Cemetery and the lunch reception will be held at St. Joseph's RC Church social hall following the interment.
