Elroy Dougherty passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan, SK on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the age of 84 years.

Elroy is survived by his children, Art (Denise) Dougherty, Jo-Anne (Eldon) Cote, Alan (Jocelyn) Dougherty and Sharon (Rick) Williams; grandchildren, Wyatt, Jessica, Dominic (Ashley), Vanessa, Natasha, Dexter, Ashtyn and Alex; great grandchildren, Brooks and Addison; step grandchildren, James (Tania) and their children, Dawson and Jessie, Dean and Carissa.

He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 2011; parents, Odile and Thomas Dougherty; brothers, Eugene (1929) and Raymond (1943); sister Della (Roland) Marchand (2013); parents-in-law, Wilfred and Emilia Weigelt; brothers-in-law, Emil (Elsie) Weigelt, Ed Harwardt and Marvin Torgunrud; sister-in-law Emma (Herman) Radfelder, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Doug Third officiating. Interment followed at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens and a luncheon took place at Industrial Communication Systems.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
