John Thomas Lake
1925 - 2016

John Lake passed away peacefully at Newhope Pioneer Lodge, Stoughton, SK on Monday, August 8, 2016 at the age of 90 years.

John will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Cliff and Bob; grandchildren, Josh (Shannon) Wallace, Jonathan (Cheryl) Lake and Rylee Lake; great grandchildren, Nathan, Dillon, Kyle and Ayden Wallace, Cheyenne, William and MacyLynn Lake; two sisters, Alice Klien and Verna (Jim) Langley; one brother Chuck (Beth); in-laws, George Charles, Gilbert Charles, Donna (Rudy) Hartenberger, Boyd (Gloria) Charles and Burton Charles, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Iona; daughter Sandra Wallace; daughter-in-law Peggy Lake; grandson Thomas Scott Lake; parents, George and Eliza; brothers, Lovell and Bill; sister Mary (Henry) Breault; brother-in-law Albert Klien and sister-in-law Marney Charles.

A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace United Church, Stoughton, with Elizabeth Goodson officiating. Interment followed at the Stoughton Town Cemetery, after which a luncheon was held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Stoughton.
