Having worked with Kay for many years at the Co-op pharmacy, she became more than just a coworker, she was a good friend. After I began working at Henders drugs, she also brought all her business there, and I had the great pleasure of being able to see her and Ken on a regular basis. She has shared many recipes with me over the years, and I haven't even finished trying them all out! I particularly liked the way she would bring me a sample of what she had made along with the recipe so I could decide for myself if this was something my family would like me to make for them. I also loved to see how she took care of her granddaughter with a blend of both strength and compassion.
Kay had a great sense of humour, and a quick wit. I am still shocked to have learned that she is gone. She will be greatly missed.
