Condolence: GONE TOO SOON In a way, I guess we all grew up together in Lampman. Our cousin Kathleen married Clayton Grimes so we often visited during family events. The Grimes' were a great family and we all remember the success of Clayton's business "Grimes Sales & Service Ltd." I remember hanging out there when our dad was getting something welded by Sebastian Mack. Clayton sold everything including TV sets, tractors, combines and all manner of farm machinery. We also fondly remember Melvyn's siblings Gary, Judith, Barbara and Karen. Mel was obviously a chip off the old block, a visionary thinker with amazing business skills. I (Carl) often stopped in to say hello during our yearly visits to Lampman. Mel always took time to drop whatever he was doing to chat and reminisce about the good old days and whatever. Those visits were a highlight of my trips to Saskatchewan. Mel told me of his long and tough fight with a foe nobody wants to tackle. The cancer inside was at bay but always a threat to come back again. He fought the good fight and didn't give in easily. We remember him fondly. RIP Mel I know the Lord has plenty of tough jobs he needs you to help him solve in your heavenly home. Condolences to the family from: Cousin Carl, Art, Bruce and our families.

Condolence: WE NEVER WALK ALONE The time comes when those whom we have loved the longest and the best will travel far ahead into a place of joy and rest… And we must walk a lonely path through shadows for a while without a certain kindred voice, a dear familiar smile – Yet each new day brings us nearer to horizons yet unknown and even when the way is dark, we never walk alone. For memories travel with us toward the happy destination where we will join our loved ones in eternal celebration. May the warmth of tender memories and the love of those around you bring comfort and peace to you and your family. With Deepest Sympathy
