Sidney E. Hill
1921 - 2017
Sidney E. Hill, late of Estevan and formerly of Ogema,SK passed away away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the age of 95 years.
Sidney will be lovingly remembered by his family; son Logan Hill, daughter, Maxene (Barry) Forsyth and son Linden, daughter Elsa (Terry) Silverson and their sons, Carter (Janna), Ryan and Jarod, daughter Christene (Bill) Beahm and their family, Derek (Erin) , Selena and Tressa (Greg) Hornung, son Eric (Heather) Hill and their family, Chantal Hill (Shaun), Clayton Hill and Colby Hill (Claudia), daughter Signe Lemieux and her family, Kristen (Chad) Lingelbach, Jada (Mike) Laberge and Holly (Stephen) Van as well as 16 great grandchildren.
Sidney was predeceased by his wife Alice Hill; sons, Linden and Sheriden; brother, Bud; sisters, Eva and Sadie; son in law Chico and many other loved ones who have passed on.
The Funeral Service for Sidney was held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Ogema, SK with Rev. Isabella Frank presiding. Interment took place at the Ogema Cemetery and the lunch reception followed at the Deep South Pioneer Museum Hall, Ogema.
In memory of Sidney memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Saskatchewan Inc., 1738 Quebec Ave, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
