Condolence: Good friends care for each other, close friends understand each other, but true friends stay forever…. beyond words, beyond distance, beyond time! Penny was a true friend. She was kind-hearted, intelligent, thoughtful, funny and wise. Penny had an incredibly strong spirit, a zest for life and great determination; she had a sense of wit and humour that allowed her to turn diversity into victory and negativity into a positive outlook. Going forward I will try to take Penny’s lead and look upon life joyously and courageously. She had an extraordinary gift of true compassion to all animals. A prophet's words say "Verily, there is a heavenly reward for every act of kindness done to a living animal”…by virtue of this I know Penny has entered Heaven a truly blessed woman! My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Rick and to all Penny's family and friends. May God grant you peace and comfort. Rest easy my dear friend, I will miss you always.

Condolence From: Nikki Noffsinger
Condolence: The first time I spoke to Penny, it was when my grandma who had raised me, passed away. I was in a dark place and here was this voice all the way from Canada that had called and we must have chatted for an hour. Though the miles separated us, I felt every bit of love and sincerity that she gave to me. Penny was like that. Once she grabbed on to you, she never let go. As an editor she was tough but fair. She inspired her authors to work and was tough when she had to be. I am going to dearly miss her and to her husband, family, and friends-you all are in my thoughts, heart, and prayers.
