1969 – 2018
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Christian Kachur, late of Estevan, SK on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the age of 48 years.
Christian is survived by his parents, Patricia and Iran Kachur; his brother Father Andrei Kachur and sisters, Katerina Armstrong and her children Samantha and Joey, and Grace Kachur and her children Diana (Vera and Theodor) and Dominick. Christian is also survived by his god children, Jessica (Travis) and Benjamin. Precious memories will remain with his special friends, Tony (Angela) Fedyk, Sheldon (Cathy) Dacio, Darryl (Lorna) Garton, Greg (Connie) Wheeler, Angie Mules and Lori (Kent) Johnson.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Estevan, SK with Fr. Andrei Kachur officiating. Lunch followed downstairs at the church. Interment will take place at a later date.
Honourary pallbearers were Angela Mules, Tony Fedyk, Darryl Garton, Sheldon Dacio, Greg Wheeler, La-Vern Kachur and Dominick Kachur.
In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make donations in Christian’s memory to the St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church (Cemetery Fund), Box 172, Elfros, SK, S0A 0V0.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
