Condolence: Dear Betty Lou and Family, We were greatly saddened to hear of Donnie's passing. I am proud to say that I had the distinct pleasure of working with Donnie through the Fire Department, when I was the Mayor and as a co-worker with our ambulance. Donnie was a credit to both organisations. He was steadfast in his support and belief in the Emergency Services in Stoughton. I will never forget the time when STARS had to be called to transport a patient to Regina and after the patient was loaded in the helicopter, the crew was unable to close the door. They suggested that our ambulance crew would have to take the patient in. Donnie found a crescent wrench on the fire engine, went over to the helicopter, gave the door a couple of good whacks and voila! The door closed. Leave it to a body man to figure that out! He will be greatly missed by his community. You are all in our thoughts. With much love, Heather & Peter Lay

Condolence: Heaven gained another angel......may you know you are surrounded by people who thought the world of Don.....he will never be forgotten. Don was a great friend and co worker, someone who could always make those late night calls a little easier to do.....I will forever miss him talking about his kids and grandkids on our journey home from a call to keep us both awake. RIP Don and big hugs to Betty Lou, Nicole, Angie, Haley, Shane and their family
