Obituary for Ronald Gordon Johnson

Ronald Johnson
1935 – 2018

It saddens the family to announce that Ronald Gordon Johnson, late of Bienfait, SK, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan, SK on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the age of 82 years.

Ronald was predeceased by his wife Elaine; his parents Eli and Annie; sister Ruby Steinke; brother-in-law Ralph Steinke; sister-in-law Kit Johnson and nephew Allen Steinke.

Ronald will be lovingly missed by his daughter Connie (Randy) Kachur of Saskatoon; son Marty (Jennifer) Johnson of Hirsch; grandsons, Dale, Dusty, Chad, Trent, Travis, Cody Johnson, John Wayne Claypool and granddaughter Kimberly Johnson. Grandpa will also be missed by his seven great grandchildren. Ronald’s memory will be cherished by his siblings, Floyd (Bernice) of Hirsch, SK, Sharon Lattimer of Oklahoma, USA and Ralph of Red Deer, AB, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the chapel of Hall Funeral Services on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 2:00 p .m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Estevan with Pastor Martin Olson presiding. Interment will take place at the Bienfait Cemetery with lunch to follow at the Bienfait Legion.

Those so wishing may make donations in memory of Ronald to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (designated to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre), 200 - 4545 Parliament Avenue, Regina, SK, S4W 0G3.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
