Obituary for William (Bill) Gordon Gooding

William (Bill) Gordon  Gooding
William (Bill) Gooding
1950 – 2018

With broken hearts, the family wishes to announce the passing of Bill Gooding on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the St. Joseph’s Special Care Home, Estevan, Sask. at the age of 67 years.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Lauretta and their children Kevin (Connie) and children Jarica and Liam, Steven and his children Caitlin and Alana, Randy and daughter Prysm, Wendy (Rob) Curtis and children Taylor and Elden, and Alicia (Will) VanSickle and children Lilee and Willow. Bill is also survived by his sisters, Mary McCutcheon, Dorothy (Larry) Watson, and Joyce (Lyle) Cozart; sisters-in-law Doreen Langton and Sandra Esmond; brothers-in-law Perry (Wendy) Esmond and Bill Quest, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Susan Gooding; brother John Gooding; sister Marjory Quest; parents-in-law Arthur and Ellen Esmond; brothers-in-law Orville McCutcheon, Wayne Esmond, Ronald Esmond and Donald Esmond and close friend Dave Beck.

A Memorial Service was held on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Sandy Dalziel officiating. A private family interment took place at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens immediately following the service after which a time of fellowship and refreshments was held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Estevan.
