1918 - 2018

Joe was born on September 20, 1918 in Steelman, Saskatchewan and passed away on June 23, 2018 in
Kelowna, British Columbia at the age of 99 years.

Joe was a farmer his whole life. Joe was married to Teresa for many years and although they had no children, they were very close to many nieces and nephews. Joe has been married to Frieda for the last twelve years.

Joe is predeceased by his first wife Teresa, parents Nickolas and Eva, brothers Nickolas (Maria), George (Marjorie), Anthony, Charlie (Rowena), sister Mary (Joe) Skikevitch, Eva Dyok (Nicholas), brother in law Herman Fleck, a niece, and numerous nephews. Joe is survived by his wife Frieda Weiers, sisters Annie Fleck, Kay (Eno) D’Aloisio, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A time of memories and prayers was held on July 4th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. and the Funeral Mass was celebrated on July 5th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Melchor Samonte. Both services were held at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman, Saskatchewan. Interment followed at the parish cemetery, after which a reception was held in the lower level of the church.
