Condolence: My deepest sympathies to Erv's loved ones. I worked with Erv at RBC for several years, but never in the same office. As we had similar roles for many years, we talked often, and met on a few occasions. What a pleasure to know him! During this time, I came to think of Erv as a friend. What a thoughtful, kind and fun guy! He was a quiet leader, and a man of character. We were lucky to know him, and I treasure the memories I have of this wonderful fellow. Bless you Erv

I worked with him for several years as well, and he was always putting in the extra effort to share his insight, with a passion to make things better for all those he came in touch with. He had a great sense of humor. I remember him laughing over good jokes, which even brought tears to his eyes at times! We have lost a good friend, and he left us with many good memories to remember him.....

Condolence: Very deep condolences to the Cote family. Erven will be very missed. He was a kind and gentle friend who loved unconditionally I spent a few years with Erven when he lived in Calgary. Always was a cheery fellow who lifted your spirit when you were down. He was a silly fun caring man who loved life, his friends and family. He stuck up for the less fortunate and always spoke his mind. You will be missed forever and always.
