Adrian Paton 1934 - 2021 Adrian Keith Paton of Arcola, SK passed away peacefully on January 28, 2021, in his own home, surrounded by his family. Adrian was one month short of his 87th birthday. Adrian was an inspiration to all who knew him. He leaves a broad legacy of love, friendship, stories written and compiled, historical records, and treasured memories. Throughout his life Adrian assumed many roles: Son, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Father (and sometimes Mother), Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Friend, Farmer, Historian, Naturalist, Archivist, Author, and more. He is truly missed. Adrian is survived by his brothers: Earl Paton of Saskatoon, SK and Jim Paton (Carol) of Arcola; sons: Russell Paton (Terri) of Millarville, AB, Brad Paton (Rhonda) of Arcola, Kevin Paton (Jayne) of Arcola and daughter Valerie Guillemin (Glen) of Saskatoon. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, their {spouses} and (great grandchildren): Adam {Bianca} (Leo); Aaron {Emma}; Marshall {Deanna}; Riley {Taylor}; Scott {Renee} (Victoria); Marcie {Craig} (Kirby), (Titus), (Ryan), (Bo), (Parker); Dennis {Michelle} (Brody); Tyler {Robyn} (Sloan) (Remy); Marissa {Chad} (Dane) (Brock); Ben {Lexi} (Isla); Erin {Sham}. Adrian had the foresight to have a celebration of life in 2017. Another celebration of life will be organized when the weather and current health restrictions allow. Adrian has created a monument on Hawk Hill west of his farm where anyone who wishes may pay their respects by adding a stone to the pile. The family has requested that donations be made to The Nature Conservancy of Canada, online at https://www.natureconservancy.ca/en/ or a charity of choice in lieu of flowers or gifts.
