Betty, late of Stoughton, SK passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the Arcola Health Centre, Arcola, SK at the age of 84 years.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Albert Nelson; infant son Miles Nelson; parents, Albert and Freeda Schrader; brothers, Harold (Irene) Schrader, Corwin (Roseina) Schrader, Cleo (Yvonne) Schrader, Orval (Alice Horn) Schrader, Lloyd Schrader and Wayne Schrader; brothers-in-law, Melvin (Maxine) Nelson, Emil (Irene) Nelson, John Nelson, Arnold (Anne) Nelson, Stan (Rita) Nelson, Gordon Nelson, Lloyd Saar, Dennis Curtis, Lewis Long; grandson Aaron Simes; special niece Bernice Schrader and sisters-in-law, Agnes Loy and Hilda (Ben) Adolf.

Betty is survived by her children, Sandra (Bill) Gallagher, Karen (Ray) Coderre, Cindy (Gerry) Goertzen, Dale (Wendy) Nelson; grandchildren Michael Sweeney, Derek (Deb) Coderre, Cheryl (Todd) Campbell, Alexis (Mark) Johnson, Joey Nelson, D’Lee (Robert) Beckman, Jodie Simes and Lindsey (Rod) Ulvild; great grandchildren, Ellyla Gallagher, Kyle Campbell, Miranda Campbell, Jenna Campbell, Dustin Coderre, Abigail Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, Dante Nelson, Nya Nelson, Chloe Beckman, Owen Beckman, McKinley Beckman, Ava Beckman, Austin Simes, Alex Simes and Ronan Simes and great great grandson Braxton Campbell; sister Yvette Long; sisters-in-law, Eva Schrader, Ellen Saar and Darlene Nelson as well as several nieces and nephews.

The public visitation was held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Stoughton Apostolic Church, Stoughton, SK from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Darrel Derksen officiating. The interment took place at the Stoughton Town Cemetery.
