1947 – 2022


With hearts full of sorrow, the family wishes to announce that Cheryl Insko passed away peacefully at her home on Friday December 2nd, 2022 at the age of 74 years.

Cheryl was predeceased by her parents: Ivan and Jean Mueller and parents-in-law: Eaton and Jessie Insko; husband John Edward "Ted" Insko; sister-in-law Amy (Insko) Hanson; brother-in-law Walter Hanson; brother-in-law Roy Shanner; sister-in-law Sandra (Insko) Jacobs; granddaughter Hope Insko; nephew Michael Shanner; niece-in-law Kara Jacobs and nephew-in-law Tom Turgeon; nephew-in-law Corey Olver.

Cheryl will be greatly missed by her daughters: Norma Jean (Insko) DeViller, Hantsport, NS and Michelle Insko, Calgary, AB; grandchildren: Jessica DeViller, Carbonear, NL, Jonathan DeViller, NB, Jonas DeViller, Dartmouth, NS, and Mallow Spencer, Hantsport, NS. Cheryl’s memory will also be cherished by her sister Maureen (Mueller) Callahan and brother Trevor Mueller; niece Raquel Insko, nephew Brad Insko (all from Medicine Hat, AB), niece Rachelle Wolfe, Red Deer, AB; sister-in-law Ethel (Insko) Shanner, nephew Morely Shanner and niece Tanya (Shanner) Turgeon; brother-in-law Mel Jacobs; Sheldon Jacobs and family, Rod Jacobs and family; Rhonda Jacobs and family and Judy (Rob) Ramsey and family; nephew Blair Hanson and family; nephew Kelly Hanson and family; niece Juanita and Kent Phillips and family.

Cheryl was a homebody who enjoyed reading, playing solitaire, and was a great cook.

Cremation has taken place, and no service is planned per Cheryl's wishes. Interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so, may make donations towards Cheryl's final arrangements, Hope's Home in Regina, SK (https://hopeshome.org/) or the charity of one's choice.
