It was very sad news about Clayton. He was always very nice to me, always taking the time for a visit whenever possible. He was lots of fun on the fastball diamond and the curling ice. Our sympathy is extended to his family.

So sorry that Lori and I will not be able to attend the memorial service for Clayton. Our condolences to his family and friends.

I am going to miss our regular telephone chats, especially the ones that began at 7:00 am on a Saturday morning!! Clayton and I didn’t always agree on things, but it was fun to have a good debate. No matter what the outcome of the conversation was we still remained friends. We often joked about the two of us moving to the old folks home, and what a pair we would have been. I am going to miss my old pal.

Clayton was always good to the Flath family and will be fondly remembered.

We are so saddened to hear of Clayton’s passing. Clayton was always good to me, from batching with him (and Kathy), Eric and Bob McCullough in Saskatoon while going to school, to mentoring myself and Bob in the auto body trade in Stoughton. All fun times! In later years after I moved to Calgary, I didn’t get back home too often but when I did I would always make a point of looking Clayton up for a chat and a few laughs. Clayton loved participating in sports from high school hockey, fastball and curling to his horses. Rest In Peace Clayton, you will be missed!
