Daniel Joseph McGillis
1949 - 2022

Danny McGillis, formerly of Willow Bunch, Sask. was born on July 15, 1949 in Willow Bunch and passed away on April 17, 2022 at the St. Joseph’s Special Care Home, Estevan, Sask. at the age of 72.

Danny’s memory will be forever cherished by his children: Laurie Serb (Ramadan), Shawn McGillis, Sherry (Yves) McGillis, Dana (Greg) Austin and Denette McGillis; grandchildren: Koy, Autumn, Brandon, Kelsey, Taylor, Mohammed, Nadya, Jordan, Victoria, Taylor, Kara, Ethan, Kayden, Olivia, Beverly and Nyha; great grandchildren: Jasper, Bryson, Alianna, Everleigh and Jett.

He will also be missed and remembered by his brothers: Andy and Leonard, and many nieces and nephews.

Danny was preceded in death by his wife Beverly; son Johnny Crossman; parents: Geordie and Alphie, and siblings: Roy, Vivian, Rosealma, Robert, George, Doreen, Jackie, Lawrence, Edward, Emerance, Henry and Anita.

The Funeral Service was held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Sandy Dalziel officiating. A luncheon followed at the Royal Canadian Legion, Estevan. Interment will take place at St. Ignace Des Saules Cemetery, Willow Bunch, at a later date.
