Donald Calvin Penstock
July 10, 1931 - May 4, 2019
Surrounded by the love of his family at St. Joseph's Hospital in Estevan, Sask., Don Penstock departed this life on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the age of 87 years.
Don's memory will be forever cherished by his loving family: his wife Beautiful Bettye (Klarholm) Penstock and their three children, Jason (Skye) Penstock and their children, Presley and Juliet; Byron Penstock and Penny (Roger) Hiltz. He will also be lovingly remembered by his two sisters: Doris Greenshields and Isabel (Ken) Rockel and their children, Janet and Dale; sisters-in-law: Mildred Wreggitt and her children, Linda, Evelyn, David and Donna; Marina Laland and her children, Kathy Ann, Toni and Tor Henning; Lorraine's children, Laura, Robert, Marcie and Trevor; Loretta (Stewart) Elford and their daughter Juanita; brothers-in-law: Gordon Klarholm and his children, Beverley, Leona, Barbara and Eric; Harvey "Babe" (Margaret) Klarholm and their children, Darren, Kim, Susan and Debbie; and Milton (Barb) Wheler, as well as numerous cousins, namely Duncan (Pam) Cook and Don (Verna) Cook and special niece Mary Ellen Goud.
He was predeceased by his granddaughter Skyla; parents: Ernest and Annie Penstock; brother Joseph Penstock; parents-in-law: Henning and Borghild Klarholm; sisters-in-law: Lorraine Wheler, Inga Klarholm and Mary Klarholm; brothers-in-law, Erling Knutson, Gordon Wreggitt, Trygve Laland and Ken Klarholm, as well as several aunts and uncles.
The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, Estevan, Sask. with Tim Pippus officiating. All were invited to join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments at the church, immediately following the service. Interment then took place at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens.
