Elaine D. Groshong (Brokenshire)
1949 – 2023

Elaine passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan, SK at the age of 73 years.

Elaine will be forever remembered by her family: son Chad (Melinda) and son Cole; son Brad (Pam) and their children, Kara, Owen and Alexa; siblings, Jeanette (Richard) Fichter, Karen (Larry) Mack, Gary’s wife Angie Brokenshire, Wayne (Connie) Brokenshire, Lois (Doc) Moerike, Susan’s husband Rod Sands, Bruce Brokenshire, Blaine (Donna) Brokenshire and Billy Joe Brokenshire and mother-in-law Kathryn Groshong as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Elaine was welcomed in to Heaven by her husband Richard; parents, Bill and Dorothy Brokenshire; siblings, Gary Brokenshire, Shirley (Bob) Barnstable, Susan Sands and Bruce’s wife Anita Brokenshire, and her father-in-law Fred Groshong.

The Public Visitation was held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, SK and the Funeral Service was held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Church, Estevan, SK with Sandy Dalziel officiating. The Private Family Interment took place at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens with the lunch following at St. Paul’s United Church Auditorium.
