Geoffrey Norman Belitski
1976 - 2023


The family wishes to announce that Geoffrey Belitski, late of Bienfait, SK passed away at the Regina General Hospital on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the age of 46 years.

Geoff was predeceased by his grandfathers Mike and Frank; grandmothers Kate and Anna and uncle Joe Chornomitz.

Geoff’s memory will forever be cherished by his loving family, his children Brandon and Hailey; parents, Reynold and Betty Belitski of Bienfait, SK; brothers, Jody of Estevan, SK and children Zachary and Ashlyn; Bradley (Amy) of North Portal, SK with children Nicholas and Clara; and Harley (Kaelyn) of St. Albert, AB and friend Priscilla.

Geoff was born in Edmonton, AB and moved with his family to Pense, SK in 1978.  He took his early schooling there before moving to Outlook, SK in 1984 and completed his high school there.  The family then moved to Estevan where Geoff found employment driving an earthmover scraper with Lafrentz Construction.  He then enrolled in Machinist training at Kelsey Institute in Saskatoon after which he worked for Waterflood Estevan.  His family then relocated to Leduc, AB where he worked for Armor Machining in Edmonton, AB.  In 2010 his family moved back to Bienfait and he started working for Shawcor Ltd. where he worked until his passing.

Geoff was a kind soul who loved family, music, fast cars and animals.  His work was very important to him and he was always the first at the shop, usually at 5:00 a.m.  Geoff had an incredible work ethic.

A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, SK with Sandy Dalziel officiating. A time of fellowship and lunch followed at the Royal Canadian Legion, Bienfait branch immediately following the service.
