Larry was peacefully called to Heaven on February 29, 2020.
Larry’s legacy of love, laughter and a life well lived will be forever cherished by his loving family: wife Aldyth; children: Brent, Chad, Karyse & Don, Jeremy & Kathy; grandchildren: Shayna, Marissa, Aydan, Amryn and Carsten; brother-in-law Ron; siblings: Elaine (Edward), Linda, Janet (Dennis), Allan (Peggy), Marlene (Don) and Eva; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Kenneth & Betty Chamney; brothers-in-law: David and Arnie (Janice); sisters-in-law: Linda (Dwight), Charlotte (Lorne), Iris, Julie (George) and Alice; Godchildren: Carla, Troy, Keith, Devin, Johnny, Christopher, Christian and Karen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was predeceased by his parents: Herman & Ann; infant grandson Gabriel; sister Shirley; infant brother Lorne; nieces: Margaret & Maryann, Shelley, Amy and Sara; nephews: Joey and Scott.
The Prayer Service was held on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. and the Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Both services were held at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman, Sask. with Rev. Nestor Gregoire, OMI presiding. A reception followed at the Royal Canadian Legion, Lampman. Interment took place at the Estevan City Cemetery at a later date.
Instead of flowers, Larry’s family would truly prefer donations in his memory to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, 1176 Nicholson Road, Estevan, Sask., S4A 0H3. Any donations received will be put towards the purchase of a Holter Monitor, used for cardiac monitoring.
