Marie Anne Lemieux passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Deer View Lodge, Wawota, SK at the age of 92 years.
Marie Anne was born to Ernest and Marie Lemieux in Cantal, SK on June 26th, 1926. She was the youngest of 15 children.
Marie Anne was predeceased by her parents and 14 siblings and their spouses, Paul (Adrienne Lachance), Leo (Rita Boutin), Francois (died in infancy), Lucienne (Ovila Poirier), Marie Louise (Rosario Poirier). Benoit (Marcelle Robert), Marie Anne (died in infancy), Joseph (Margaret Hartley), Francois (Rose Revet), Bernadette (Alcide Boutin), Leon (Jeanne Wilcott), Albert, Louis and Therese (died in infancy) as well as numerous other family members.
Of the entire family, Marie is survived by one sister-in-law Margaret (Boody) Lemieux and being the youngest from such a large family she is lovingly remembered by many, many, many nephews and nieces.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Raphael R.C Church, Cantal, SK with Rev. Bruno Moduthagam presiding. Interment took place immediately following the mass at St. Raphael Parish Cemetery. The luncheon was held at the Alida Hall, Alida, SK following the interment.
