Martha McNichol
1928 - 2020

With great sadness and much love, the family of Martha McNichol, late of Regina, formerly of Estevan, announce her passing on January 14, 2020 at the Regina General Hospital.

Martha was born on July 11, 1928 in Rhein, Saskatchewan to parents Nicholas and Mary Achtemichuk.

She was predeceased by her husband William McNichol (2007); her parents, Nicholas and Mary; her siblings and their spouses, Pauline (Ralph) Lolacher, Ann (Reg) Stone, John (Anne) Achtemichuk and Alex (Carol) Achtemichuk.

Martha is survived by her daughter Karen (Don) Olshanoski; sons, Doug (Deena) McNichol and Garth (Eileen) McNichol; her sister Marge Beedle; loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church, Estevan, with Sandy Dalziel officiating. Interment will follow at the Estevan City Cemetery, after which a luncheon will be held in the church auditorium.

If friends so desire, donations in Martha's memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #60, 1317 - 4th Street, Estevan, Sask., S4A 0X1 or United Way Estevan, Box 611, Estevan, Sask., S4A 2A5.

Sad to hear of Martha’s passing ... Martha chaperoned my parents when they were first dating. I also have many wonderful Eastern Star memories of Martha. She was a most precious soul and i will remember her fondly, always.

Dear Karen, Doug, Garth & families

Our hearts were saddened to learn the passing of your Mother. We have the fondest memories of your Mom during our childhood years. She was beautiful inside and out. Your Mom was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
