Mary Janet Kowalski
1933 – 2021

Mary Kowalski, late of Estevan, SK and formerly of Regina, SK passed away on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, at the age of 87 years.

Mary was born and raised in Estevan and attended a school for the blind in Brantford, Ontario from the age of 10 to 20 years old. Mary was the first daughter born to Louis and Mary (Wilczek) Kowalski.

Mary is lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Shirley, numerous nieces and nephews and her many wonderful friends.

Mary was predeceased by her parents Louis and Mary Kowalski and her brothers – Charlie (Phyllis), Alfred (Violet), Morton (Betty), Louis, Johnny, Joseph, Kenneth (Valerie), George (as an infant), Edward and Ronald and her sister Doreen (Barry) Duncan.

A Private Memorial Service was held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Joan Fingler presiding.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mary to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) or a charity of your choice.
